The instructions for use are as follows:
After connecting the receiver to the flight controller, power the flight controller by plugging in the USB. When you see the LED on the receiver turn off, immediately disconnect the USB. Repeat this process once. On the third time the USB is plugged in, the LED will start to flash twice, indicating the receiver is in pairing mode.
Properly connect the ES24TX module or DIY 2.4G ELRS tuner module to the remote control. Then, copy the ELRS.LUA file to the SD card in the remote control, in the directory SDCard/Scripts/tools, and run ELRS.LUA to perform the Bind operation.
Once the binding is successful, the receiver's LED will remain constantly illuminated, and the telemetry signal can be received.
The receiver LED status meanings are as follows:
ELRS MINI 2 Type: The receiver is based on an ISMESP8285 processor and features a 2.4GHz omnidirectional T antenna. The frequency range is 2400MHz to 2500MHz. The upper limit of the receiving refresh rate is 500Hz, and the lower limit is 25Hz. The working voltage is 5V, and the weight (without antenna) is 0.42g. The dimensions are 10mm10mm3mm. The working protocol is CRSF (Betaflight).
The CYCLONE series receivers are based on the open-source ExpressLRS architecture and firmware. There are 3 types of RX receiver modules, all using the ESP8285 MCU. The firmware can be easily upgraded via WiFi.
After powering on the receiver and turning off the remote control, the ExpressLRS can be accessed by default after 60 seconds. You can connect to the hotspot (password: expresslrs) using a computer or mobile phone, and then visit 10.0.0.1 to upload the receiver firmware.
The BETAFPV Lite 2400RX receiver features a power amplifier (PA+LNA), allowing for a 100mW telemetry output and better sensitivity at longer distances. It uses an IPEX Gen 1 antenna base with an external dipole T-type antenna.
The ELRS Lite receivers have low latency and high refresh rate RF modules, making them ideal for combined FPV competition and remote FPV. They are also ultra-light and ultra-small in size. The ELRS mini 1 receiver does not have a PA/LNA, so its telemetry power is the same as the RF chip.
The ELRS mini 2 receiver also has no PA/LNA, with its telemetry power being the same as the RF chip. It uses a high-efficiency pagoda ceramic antenna and an IPEX 1st generation antenna base, with a dipole Sub-T antenna (customized by a professional factory, each antenna has been tested to ensure quality, lightweight, and durability).
