The TX16S Mark II features several improvements, including enhanced internal circuitry and optimized power supply. A new charge circuitry with integrated reverse-polarity protection has been introduced, allowing the optimized charge IC to support up to 2.2A internal USB-C charge current.
On the audio front, a rear-mounted jack provides headphone output. The V4.0 Gimbal has been improved, enhancing centering and temperature stability, with the same circuitry as the AG01.
For improved ergonomics, optional high/low rear grips are included. The S1/S2 knobs now have clearer center detents, and the LS/RS Sliders offer a smoother feel with better center detents.
The battery cover has been redesigned for easier battery access, and the body shell has been retooled for improved fit and finish. The trainer socket has been changed to a standard TRS 3.5mm socket.
A rear DIY Socket has been added, enabling personalized mods. The internal plastics have been enhanced for better longevity. Both ELRS and 4in1 versions are available.
The TX16S Mark II specifications are as follows: Max Size: 287x129x184mm, Weight: 750g (without battery). The transmission frequency range is 2.400GHz-2.480GHz.
Transmitter module options include an internal 4-in-1 multi-protocol module (CC2500 CYRF6936 A7105 NRF2401) or an internal ELRS (SX1280). The transmitting power is up to 100mW for the 4-in-1 module and up to 250mW for the ELRS, with adjustable power.
The system supports a 256MB SD card by default, with a maximum of 8GB. The antenna gain is 2dB, with adjustable transmit power. The working current is 400mA, and the working voltage is 6.6-8.4V DC.
The remote control distance is over 2km at 22dbm. The radio firmware is EdgeTX, and the module firmware is either Multiprotocol for the 4in1 module or ExpressLRS for the ELRS module. Up to 16 channels are supported, depending on the receiver.
The display is a 4.3-inch TFT full-color touch screen with a resolution of 480 * 272. The gimbal options include a V4.0 Hall sensor with an Aluminum fascia or the AG01 CNC Hall sensor. The module bay is JR compatible, and the upgrade method supports both USB-C online and SD card offline.
