RadioMaster TX16S MKII MAX Full CNC Transmitter

The RadioMaster TX16S MKII MAX Version features Full CNC AG01 Hall Gimbals and supports both EDGETX and OPENTX. It is available in both 4IN1 and ELRS versions. The MAX units boast a carbon-look faceplate and CNC-finished components and buttons.

In terms of the product specifications, the size is 287 x 129 x 184mm, and the weight (without battery) is 750g. The transmission frequency range is 2.400GHz-2.480GHz. The transmitter module options include an internal 4-in-1 multi-protocol module (CC2500, CYRF6936, A7105, NRF2401) or an internal ELRS (Sx1280) module.

The transmitting power for the 4-in-1 multi-protocol module is a maximum of 100mW, depending on the protocol, while the ELRS module has a maximum of 250mW, with adjustable transmitting power. The antenna gain is 2dB, and the transmitting power is adjustable.

The working current is 400mA, and the working voltage is 6.6-8.4V DC. The remote control distance is greater than 2km at 22dbm. The radio firmware is EdgeTX, and the module firmware options are Multiprotocol-Module (4IN1) or ExpressLRS (ELRS). The number of channels is up to 16, depending on the receiver.

The display is a 4.3-inch TFT full-color touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 272. The gimbal options include a v4.0 Hall sensor with an aluminum faceplate or an AG01 CNC Hall sensor. The module bay is JR-compatible, and upgrades can be made via USB-C online or SD card offline.

Regarding the improvements, the internal circuitry has been enhanced, and the power supply has been optimized. The new charge circuitry includes integrated reverse-polarity protection, and the charge IC has been optimized for better balancing and USB-C charge current management. A rear-mounted audio jack provides headphone output.

The v4.0 gimbal has improved centering and temperature stability, similar to the AG01. Optional high/low rear grips are included for improved ergonomics. The S1/S2 knobs have clearer center detents, and the LS/RS sliders have a smoother feel and better center detents. The battery cover has been redesigned for easier battery access.

The body shell has been retooled for improved fit and finish. The trainer socket has been changed to a standard TRS 3.5mm socket, and a rear DIY socket has been added for personalized modifications. The internal plastics have been improved for better longevity.

Both ELRS and 4-in-1 versions are available, catering to the diverse preferences of users.
